The Ricoh Aficio 240W wide format digital imaging system is aimed at workgroups that need a wide format device for producing larger documents including blueprints and designs. The all-in-one Ricoh 240W copier is able to print in crisp detail while the simplified control panel allows easy operation, but it could be better if the scanner and printer were standard features.

Design

The Ricoh Aficio 240W wide format printer follows a universal build with a touch of industrial design, making it a robust machine that uses electro photographic method for printing. It stands 1,280mm tall and 1,080mm wide, and it requires more installation space because it is 700mm deep with the roll feeder installed. The Aficio 240W mono laser printer weighs approximately 175Kg, but wheels can be integrated into a stand with wheels for easy mobility. The control panel includes a fairly large LCD status screen. 80MB of memory is integrated into the Aficio 240W wide format digital system.

Advantages

Clearly labelled buttons on the control panel allow for easy on-board configuration of the Ricoh Aficio 240W copier. The device can be shared by up to 24 users with some upgrades.
