Kyocera KM-3060 Toner Cartridges Printer Review
Expert review of the Kyocera KM-3060 printer 08 February 2013
The Kyocera KM-3060 is a multifunction copier that offers print, scan, and fax features along with its advanced copy options. The KM3060 copier is fairly compact at 22x25x30 inches, though a bit bulky for desktop operation. Nevertheless, it is a great space saver as it integrates four machines in one. The Kyocera KM-3060 monochrome multifunction printer is very easy to operate and maintain, not to mention very economical. However, the Kyocera KM03060 multifunction printer can only print, fax, and copy in black and white, although the scanner can process coloured documents and images.
Design
Measuring about 22x25x30 inches, the Kyocera KM-3060 mono laser MFP is still compact even for offices with small work spaces. The KM 3060 A3 multifunctional uses laser printing technology, which produces high quality outputs. It features an automatic document feeder and a duplexer, while the standard paper capacity can be increased to a maximum of 2,200 sheets. The Kyocera KM3060 multifunction printer also offers expandable memory, up to 1 GB for handling more complex tasks. A touchscreen LCD panel is at hand for easy navigation through functions and for monitoring KM-3060 toner and paper levels.
Advantages
Being a monochrome printer, the Kyocera KM-3060 A3 multifunction printer only needs a single toner Kyocera KM3060 black cartridge, which helps lower print costs. The scanner offers fast operation, scanning at a rate of 50 monochrome pages and 25 coloured pages in a minute. The fax unit can send to multiple locations and has a transmission speed of 33.6 Kbps, which translates to less than 3 seconds per page.
Disadvantages
Unfortunately, the Kyocera KM-3060 black and white copier cannot process coloured documents when printing or copying, as the unit is only designed for monochrome outputs.
