Our Verdict:

The HP LaserJet 1220SE is by no means a new item on the market, and in truth, the whole LaserJet range will be more than a little familiar to most of you already. However, if you are still a little unsure as to the benefits of this particular printer, here is a small guide to the pros and the cons that you too stand to experience through the use of a HP LaserJet 1220SE.

Design

On a purely physical basis, there is plenty to shout about with the LaserJet 1220SE. It is a very attractively designed HP printer, complete with a huge range of additional features. This printer is about simplicity and the shell design proves this. Furthermore, the HP LaserJet 1220SE also comes in a very attractive white finish and wouldn't look out of place in a front room or small office.

Advantages

Fine monochrome print outs are a given with the HP range in general, and there is very little to fault where the HP 1220SE LaserJet is concerned. Still, the true advantages of this item are perhaps the quality text documents you can produce. As good and as clear as the images are on printouts, the text documents that the HP 1220SE can produce are hugely impressive.

Disadvantages

There are none to speak of. Honestly, the only real fault, if you could even call it that, of the HP LaserJet 1220SE selection is that it might not be totally affordable if you're on a very tight budget. But if you want to buy quality, then this might well be the printer for you and it won't bankrupt you either.
