Our Verdict:

Another portable unit from HP, the HP Deskjet 350c printer is a lightweight and compact alternative to small inkjets, measuring only 12.2x2.6x5.9 inches. It features an automatic document feeder, making it a convenient choice, as users won't have to hand-feed paper into the unit. In addition to its portability, the HP Deskjet 350c boasts more connectivity options, and a few other extras. However, its maximum print resolution for colour prints is still not as impressive at 600x300 dpi.

Design

The HP Deskjet 350c has the exact same design as the base model, featuring the same 30-sheet ADF, USB port for connectivity, and parallel port for additional connectivity. The infrared adapter can be purchased separately for those who want the convenience of wireless printing. The HP Deskjet 350c is a simple device that uses a single ink cartridge, (black or tri-colour), and 512 MB of memory.

Advantages

Compatibility to both Mac and Windows computers is one advantage of the HP Deskjet 350c printer series, although its main selling point is still its portable design. The Deskjet 350c weighs only 4.3 pounds, and uses HP's Colorsmart II and SmartFocus technology, which allows the printer to automatically enhance images.

Disadvantages

The HP Deskjet 350c inkjet printer is suite sluggish, averaging only 5 ppm and 2 ppm when printing in black and white and in colour, respectively. The Hewlett Packard Deskjet 350c colour printer has a maximum print resolution for monochrome prints of only 600x600 dpi, while colour images only reach as high as 600x300 dpi.
